Internal Critical Design Review (CDR) on the 28th and 29th of April

On the 28th and 29th of April, the internal Critical Design Review (CDR) of the AtmoHIT experiment took place at the University of Wuppertal. The review was divided into two days, so that the review group could go through all aspects of the design. The following topics were involved: optics, electronics, mechanics, software, thermal, experiment verification and testing, data processing, project management, outreach and launch campaign preparation. All team members were present in person or via a teleconferencing tool. They reported the ongoing status of their individual topic in charge, discussed about the faced challenges, and put forward the scheduled plan for the coming CDR in the end of May. Several experts also joined the meeting, and gave really valuable feedback and useful suggestions to the AtmoHIT team.
